About the ShinBudoKai

Shihan Shizuo Imaizumi is a former student of O-Sensei Morihei Ueshiba the founder of Aikido. He instructed at Hombu Dojo [Aikikai] and was sent to the United States in 1978 as 7th dan to be Chief Instructor for the Ki Society. He founded the Shin-Budo Kai (Center for the True Martial Way) in 1988.

The New York Shin-Budo Kai is located at 77 Eighth Ave (Lower Level) in New York City.
